Kiran Haider, a reserved-seat MNA representing Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), attended all 84 sittings of the National Assembly held during the second parliamentary year a 100% attendance rate. She was the only member of either gender across the entire 343-member House to achieve perfect attendance during the year.
How this is measured
Attendance data are compiled from official session attendance records published by the National Assembly secretariat for each of the 84 sittings held between 1 March 2025 and 28 February 2026. FAFEN verifies attendance records against the total number as mentioned in the daily bulletins to ensure accuracy. A 100% attendance rate means a member was recorded present at every sitting without exception, regardless of whether the House sat for a full day or a brief ceremonial session.
Why this matters in parliamentary terms
Perfect attendance in a legislative body is rare. Parliamentary sessions require members to be in the capital for extended and often unpredictable periods, to be available at short notice, and to prioritise the House over constituency demands, party duties, and personal obligations. For any MNA, a 100% attendance record across 84 sittings over a full parliamentary year is a significant institutional commitment. The fact that a female MNA achieved this record in a country where women face structural, cultural, and logistical barriers to sustained political engagement makes it a particularly notable data point. FAFEN records it not as an exceptional individual story but as evidence that the preconditions for full parliamentary participation can be met by female members when institutional support is in place.
