Mr. Zahid Islam is the founding member and Executive Director of Sangat Development Foundation (SDF). He has more than 30 years’ experience of working with various civil society organizations in different capacities and has served as the FAFEN Chairperson. He has authored books on civic education and local government as well as a trilogy on the history of workers, students, and peasant movements. He holds a master’s degree in Political Science.
