The 21st session of the National Assembly concluded with the passage of seven legislative pieces including the 27th Constitutional Amendment, which introduces changes to Pakistan’s judicial, executive, and military structures.

The House spent a total of ten hours and four minutes debating the amendment bill. As many as 57 members participated in the debate. Members of the governing coalition spoke for five hours and forty-five minutes, which made up 57 percent of the total debate time. Opposition members spoke for four hours and nineteen minutes, accounting for the remaining 43 percent. During the sitting when the Constitutional Amendment was passed, 91 percent of members (296 lawmakers) were present.

  2. The Pakistan Army (Amendment) Bill, 2025
  3. The Pakistan Air Force (Amendment) Bill, 2025
  4. The Pakistan Navy (Amendment) Bill, 2025
  5. The Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure) (Amendment) Bill, 2025
  6. The Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill, 2024

The last five of these six bills were moved and passed on the same day after suspension of the due legislative procedure under Rule 288 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007.
